Have Headache And Stiff Neck. Have Diagnosed With Bronchial Pneumonia And Taking Medication. What To Do?

I was diagnosed with bronchial pneumonia earlier this week. I'm taking Augmentin and feeling a little better, but I continue to get a stiff neck and headache as the day goes on, by evening I can barely turn my head and my head is pounding. This was happening prior to diagnosis and starting medication. Should I be concerned? When can I expect this to resolve?

Neurologist 's  Response
Hi ,
Yes you should consult neurologist as early as possible for clinical examination to rule out meningitis and fundus also to be seen to rule out raised ICT

Some time it can also be due to simple cervical myofascitis, hence treatment and further plan depends on clinical examination

Hope this will help you
