Frequent Headaches On Left Side Edge Of Top Of Skull. Should I Be Concerned ?

if I have what is kind of described as ice pick headaches.. left side... on the edge of the top of the skull and these occur very frequently... now every minute.. last 5 seconds.. then come back... and its been 3 days now...milder for the first day.... more so the next... much more painful today... always in exactly the same spot... should I be concerned... immediately... over the next few days when I can see a doctor... or will they just go away...
