My daughter is 2 years old and is getting cough and cold very frequently. This monsoon, she caught sevre infections 3 times within 5 months. She usually vomits dureing this period and refuses to each much. It takes toll on her helath and results in weight loss. She goes to daycare for a year now. General & Family Physician 's  Response
hi and thanks for the question,
keeping her warm is very important. It might be important to know why she is having recurrent infections. This could be due to inadequate treatment, resistant organisms or a condition that predisposes to recurrent infections. Primary immuno deficiencies, child hood diabetes and any childhood malignancies must be checked for excluded. I suggest you consult a pediatrician.
