Hi.Thanks for writing us on HCM.
Floaters are due to excess of light entering the eye after the new lens is replaced with new ones.In most cases the floaters and the symptoms of the floaters will gradually improve as time goes by and that vitreous gel tends to settle (by 12 weeks post surgery). If this does not happen you need to get evaluated by Ophthalmologist since the probability of this floater causing a potential retinal detachment or evaluating the location(near the macula) can be seen on dilation of the pupil.Hope this helps.Take care.
