Eye Injury, Red And Hard Lump Between Eyebrow And Eyelid. Headache. Advice?

As I was bending over to pick up my friend s thrashing Jack Russell Terrier, my right eye made direct impact with the back of a dogs head. The back of his head fit perfectly into my right eye socket. strong body, strong impact. The hit resulted in a hard red, purple lump forming between my eyebrow and eyelid . My eyelid is beginning to shut. I also have a headache . I had ice on the bump for approximately an hour but the lump continued growing. Advise?

Hello
It seems from the history that you suffered an eye injury and having a lump between eye brow and eye lid. This indicates hematoma because of collection of blood in the layers of the skin of the eyelids.
This will decrease over 3-4 weeks and applying cold compression will help. Along with this anti-inflammatory drugs will help in early resolution of the lump.

Thank you
