Does The Childhood Trauma Be Connected To Vagus Nerve?

I was wondering about the connection between the vagus nerve bundle and the effects of early childhood trauma. Thanks, Sy That is, can early trauma affect the vagus nerve development, and does this affect a person s ability to experience a sense of well being or relaxation in the world overall?
