Does Recurrent Urinary Tract Infection Cause Dizziness?

Hi
I’m on my 4th UTI in about 8 weeks. After my 3rd one I felt good for about a month then got another one just this last week and I am on antibiotic again. With this last one I’ve also had some dizziness that’s developed. Just wondering if that can be a symptom of recurrent UTIs. I have appt with a urologist but not till end of the month. I have had some stress in my life and I have what I think is arthritis in my neck and its been pretty tight and uncomfortable of late so I don’t know if the dizziness is related more to this possibly. Any info you can offer me would be most appreciated. Thanks, Barb

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per my clinical experience, the dizziness is not related to UTI, it is underlying stress and other factors responsible for the dizziness.

Drink plenty of liquids for the same.

Take care.

Regards.
