Does Phexin 500 And Ark AP Helps To Reduce Boil In Eye?
I have a boil in me left eye. The opthalmologist has prescribed a dosage of 2 tablets of phexin 500 mg twice a day(4 tablets per day) for 4 days. Is it the right dosage ? The doctor has also prescribed Ark AP two tablets a day for 2 days. Is it ok? Kindly advice. My e mail id is: YYYY@YYYY

It seems from the history that you are having boil and you are prescribed with phexin and ARK AP for treatment.
Boil is because of infection of the glands of the eyelids. The treatment is by use of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs. Phexin is a antibiotic and ARK AP is an anti-inflammatory drug, hence they are effective in treatment of the boil. Along with this antibiotic eye ointment can be used and applying hot compression will help in early resolution of symptoms.
