Does Negative Duo Test At 13 And 26 Indicate Low HIV Exposure?

Hi from south africa. Will a negative duo test at 13 and 26 days give some comfort for a low exposure? It was done at ampath labs and they say no restesting is done. Iniially they said 14 days and a follow up in another ten to fourteen is sufficient. Thanks for your time.

Hello,
Thanks for the consult,

Brief answer,
Mild risk of exposure.

Detailed explanation,
1. You already done tests around 13th and 26th day of risk exposure. The 26th day test result is good when compared to 13th day result but both tests indicate negative for hiv
2. Try to take a test by name PCR test after 6th week and the confirmative test is WESTERN BLOT TEST which can be done after 6 weeks of exposure to the risk of hiv

Hope this information helps
