Does A Person With A Brain Injury Produce A Child With Brain Damage?

I recently found out I was pregnant. My baby's father used to work for sheriff's office until his accident in 2004 causing him to be missing part of his brain. He wants an abortion because he's scared the baby would be born missing part of the brain, because he is since accident. Is that possible?
