Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hello and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concern.
Before giving you a proper answer i would like to know the hormone results prior to starting treatment with synthroid and i would suggest to recheck the thyroid hormone levels again.
I would like also to know if this is the first time that your menstrual cycle is delayed or it happens often?
If this is not the first time, first you have to stabilize the thyroid hormone level and if it is still irregular another cause should be found.
Hope the information will help!
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
