Had surgery 2 years ago for abscess on sigmoid colon which led to 3 surgeries over 3 month period with a colostomy and removal of the sigmoid colon. Reversal in 2014 Jan with total hysterectomy and 2 hernia repairs only tacked. Now having severe bouts of vomiting starts with feeling not self, tired, and nervous with severe hot flashes and feels like heart racing then the vomiting starts and last for several days. Have had endos and x-rays all normal. Cont to lose weight over a 100 lbs, since the first surgery in 2012. Have ankylosing spondylitis and was on Enbrel which they think caused the abscess, which led to all the problems, have not taken in since. Could hormone imbalance cause the severe vomiting and other symptoms, my surgeon and gastro are at a loss. Only 50 years old, worked 21 years as a charge nurse, now have not been able to go back to work or spend quality time with family. Any thoughts would be great. thanks Cindy
