Could The Elevated Calcium Cause Drowsiness?

My husband has Large B Cell NHL- he has tired ICE+R, Eshaup+R and Gemox+R all treatments shrink the cancer but it come right back......he is now getting ready to do radiation....His calcium level were real high today and he has been sleeping about 22 hours a day for the last week. Could the elevated calcium cause him to sleep like this?

I don't think so that elevated calcium can cause drowsiness rather it causes insomnia. But as you mentioned that he has B cell NHL , it may be due to pathology of cancer itself. There may be chances that medicines given for treatment causes drowsiness. Another Reasoner metastasis to brain tissue, which is infecting some part of brain and causes drowsiness. So best thing is to ask the treating doctor for exact reason.
