Could A Dry Mouth Be Caused By The Medications Below?

My mother in law has been experiencing dry mouth for the last three months. She is 78 years old. Here are her meds. Levothyroxine 88mcg daily Simvastatin20mg daily Temazepam 15mg 1tab at bedtime Multivitamin daily Aspirin 81 mg daily Oxcarbazepine 300mg Twice a day Pilocarpine HCL 5mg Three times a day Senokot 8.6 mg as needed ( about every other day) Carisoprodol 350mg as needed Cyanocobalamin 1000mg Gets a shot once a month since January STOPPED taking B6 about a month ago.

Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. None of the medications she is taking can cause dry mouth.
2. It is possibly age related. If any associated dry eyes is also present, Sjogrens syndrome will need to be evaluated.
3. Keep mouth moist to avoid infections. Hydration to be maintained well. B-complex supplements and nutritional diet will be helpful.
