Can Using Nair On Public Hair Cause Raised Bumps On Them?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... yes I'm female and I used nair instead of a razor to get rid of unwanted pubic hair. But now I have these bumps on oneside. They are raised and won't go away. Is it the nair?

Yes the bumps in you pubic area could be related to the use of Nair. the Nair is a depilatory agent the breaks down the hair molecules and the hair breaks off but the hair follicle stay intact. The as the hair regrows it may grow into the skin or the hair follicle may become infected. I would recommend possible shaving but be sure to shave with the grain and not too close.
