Can Scleroderma Cause Psychiatric Issues In A Person?
Concerned of a friend with scleroderma. Can it cause them to be erational and become mentally ill? Feel as thou they are making bad decisions and it’s affecting their thinking. Was given 4-6 years to live with a need in a couple years for lung meds.

Scleroderma can be a part of many syndromes and can cause psychiatric symptoms also. If symptoms persist, bettet to consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI brain to rule out possible intra cranial (inside the brain) causes.
