Can Moisturizing Sunscreen Coming In Contact With Eyes Prove Harmful?

Hello,
I used Olay moisturizing sunscreen on my face about 3 weeks ago,and it accidentally went into my eyes,I was on a rush so I didn't rinse them immediately,I did so sometime afterwards.
Now,they sting, the corners are red and puffy and they feel wierd and dry, although the first week they would tear up a lot.
What to do?! Please help.
Thanks.

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello
Welcome to health care magic.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that moisturizing sun screen accidentally went into your eyes.
This will not lead to any problems other than irritation, hence no need to worry.
You need to wash the eyes and use artificial tears if there is irritation as in your case. This will resolve no need to worry.
If the symptoms persist do consult your ophthalmologist for examination and treatment accordingly.

Hope this information is helpful to you.

Thank you
With regards
