Hi, thank you very much. I have been suffering with pain in my right arm for about four years now. It started with carpal tunnel in the forearm from computer work which I had to do. Lowering my keyboard to lap level helped a bit. I supplemented with fish oil and it seemed to come and go. Then in February I had to go back to work as an electrician pulling very heavy cable for months up north living in camp. My arm got worst and then the pain started going into my hand, and I started getting chest pains with my heart doing the 'washing machine' several times a day, usually at night. I roughed through it but two weeks before the project was completed I noticed hair-like black streaks in my finger nails. I did not have a computer in camp so did not look up the symptoms of severe arm and heart pain and the fingernail streaks. End of May I drove home the 1500kms and was so tired but caulked it up to the heavy work and travel, but after 3 days of sleeping at home and not being able to move I saw my doctor. She saw my fingernail streaks and sent me directly to the hospital for lab testing of my treponin levels which were elevated, resulting in a diagnosis of a heart attack. Over the next week in three hospitals and an angiogram, the cardiologist in Kelowna said I have a 'burned out node' in my brain so my heart stops for e few seconds at a time throughout the day. They put me on verapramil to make my heart beat properly. If this does not work they will put a pace maker in. Since then my arm has been getting worse and worse with radiating and pulsing pain. Chiropractic, laser and massage have done nothing so far. This has been about 7 months now. I was just reading about magnesium and think I could be deficient. Any help would be great. I am a 60 year old grandma, yes, 60 who has been physically fit and worked my whole life. Thanks, Tanya
