Can Lump On Forehead At Hairline Be Treated With Vancomycin?

I have a lump on my forehead at my hair line above my left eye. The lump changes size from time to time but never goes away. I was hospitalized for a hip infection of some kind and put on Vancomycin through an IV for about 2 weeks. During this time the lump seem to get the smallest I have ever seen it get. Now I have been off the Vancomycin for a week it has grown and its large and in charge. Can you tell me what kind of doctor I should go see for this lump.

Hi, dear.
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You may have some infection or inflammation. So that at the time of antibiotics it decrease in size. You should go for fine needle aspiration cytology to check exact cause. Then you should consult general surgeon and take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
