Can Intake Of More Salt Foods Cause Cloudy Urine With Mild Itching?

Hi, I have had cloudy urine with lots of white sediment for the past week, the colour of urine varies from pale to deep yellow even though I always drink 3 litres of fluids a day. I went to the doctor and she did a dipstick which showed up normal (no UTI) so it was sent away to the lab for testing. I've had no burning/painful sensation when urinating although have experienced some mild itching. What else could this be if it's not an UTI? However, I do eat a lot of salt could this be whats affecting my urine?

The cloudy urine in absence of UTI may indicate presence of sterile pyuria from variety of causes. Intake of more salt foods may give alteration in urine pH and further changes, which also should be counted.
