Can I Get Rid Of Chlamydia After Having Sex During Treatment?

I had intercourse while being treated for chlamydia with my infected partner who has not started treatment. The same day I had sex, I went ahead and took another zithromax tablet. (Which was my last one) what are the chances of me getting rid of chlamydia now ?

In case of chlamydial infection you need to abstain from sexual intercourse until 7 days after therapy is started provided your symptoms have resolved and your sexual partner is adequately treated.
