Can Height Increase After Hitting Puberty?

I m 14 and a half(15 in october), and about 5 1 . I have only grown like 3 inches in the past 3-4 years. And my parents are 5 5.5 and about 6 1 /6 2 , Grandparents on dads side were 5 3 and 6 0 , on moms side 5 4 and 5 10 . is there a chance I could hit 5 4 , possibly? I ve hit puberty about a year and a half ago. But only grew a inch since starting it. I ve had lots of growing pain the past half a year, but really haven t grown much.

Hi,

It is hard to say if you are going to hit some more inches again in the few coming years. Your chances are really low, unfortunately.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Salah Saad Shoman, Internal Medicine Specialist
