Can Drinking Cause Dry Eyes Leading To Blurred Vision?

i am 48 yrs old . i eat very little and drink a lot,8 beers a night.besides causing other problems,can it cause hyperglycaemia .i am thin and have been diagnosed with dry eyes which eye specialists say is the cause of my blurred vision.i'm worried that it's the drinking

Hello
It seems from the history that you are suffering from dry eyes.
Drinking alcohol can aggravate the symptoms of dry eyes and can lead to more symptoms.
Hence if you are having dry eyes it is better to stop drinking.
Along with drinking alcohol the caffeine drinks also lead to aggravation of the symptoms.
Drinking lots of water and consumption of Vitamin A rich foods is helpful in case of dry eyes.
