Can An Infected Ear Piercing Be Infested By Worms?
Can there be worms in a (infected)pierced ear??? Last night I was putting in earrings after a while (bc they were infected) when I put one earring in out of the back came out a worm like thing I don’t know what It is and if it’s normal. I am now paranoid that there might be more( even tho I squeezed it and checked for more) .

Infected ear piercing can cause pain, pus formation and at times bleeding and itching but worm infestation is a very rare thing to see.
There is a possibility that you have got a misconception that the worm like structure can be dead skin or thickened pus or anything else but chances of it being worm is very less.
If the ear piercing is infected, you can clean it with antiseptic solution and apply antiseptic ointment over it. Let it heal and then only wear any earring and keep the piercing clean.
In case if you see the worm again, you should consult a Physician and get evaluated.
