Can A Tick Bite Infection In The Neck Travel To The Pituitary Gland?

I had a c.a.t. Scan done the other day and it is showing something. They want me to have an M.R.I. But ln 2015 I had a tick bite. I did take antibiotics for it but had some problems in the nape of my neck later to find out I had an infection in a gland. Is it possible that the infection traveled to the pituitary gland?
