Can Petoskey Syndrome Cause Eye Pain With A Bad Headache?

Hi, My mom is 83 and is generally in very good health. Just now we were moving boxes getting ready for a garage sale. She has a partial blockage in her left arm main artery - she said it's called Ptoskeniny syndrom (can't spell it) -- all of a sudden she has intense pain in her left eye (behind it) and a bad headache. I want to be sure she doesn't need to go see a doctor.
Thanks
Jane

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. I am not sure, that is petoskey asperger syndrome, you are talking about.
2. It is not known to cause arterial problems, however, asperger syndrome would have manifested more early and social manifestations would have been seen. Potocki syndrome is also known to have different manifestations
3. Coming to the present question, please go to the doctor at the earliest. Intense pain behind left eye along with headache, could be a retinal vein thrombosis. She will require help and early to save her vision. Go to ER.

Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
