Can HIV Be Transmitted By Touching The Test Kit Of An HIV Positive Patient?

Hi Doctor
I took an HIV test yesterday at an health facility.
It is negative but I am paranoid because I accidentally touched a test kit from a positive patient (slightly touched it). My fingers have small pricks . I washed with betandin. I am so paranoid but I touched the control side . could I be infected?

In my opinion, first you just need to relax and not to worry. HIV is not transmitted by just touching the HIV kit. And also as per your history, you touched the control side which dose not contain HIV infected blood. You can still go for HIV test for you after 6-8 weeks for your satisfaction.
