Hi,

It may take before or after food but the food that increases body metabolic rate may produce heat in that condition you may avoid it, like oily food, spicy food, non-vegetarian food. Eat soft alkaline and vegetarian food. But no studies have shown that specific foods are useful or not. But these variations may be seen in different subjects in clinical practice.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
