Are Pain And Pressure In The Throat, Chest And Ears Symptoms Of Laryngospasm?

A test just indicated that My trachea is in spasms, the lower end is like a corkscrew. I am having serious pain and pressure in my throat, like I have a large ball caught there. The pain radiates up to my ears and down to my upper chest. Now it is constant, not just when I eat or drink. Could those symptoms be due to the trachea problem? I am High-risk, so surgery is out of the question. Any suggestions?

Hello,

It could be posterior pharynx infection condition.

You need to evaluate by the posterior pharynx and indirect laryngoscopy examination for primary workup.

You need to consult otorhinolaryngologist for that.

According to it, cause-specific treatment given.

Meanwhile, decongestant and anlagesic can be prescribed for that.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
