After Extraction Of Tooth Noticed Hard Lump & Swelling Of Gum
I had 3 molars pulled on my right side last Monday. I noticed this past weekend that where my wisdom tooth was the gum (closest to my cheek) feels swollen and there is a hard lump. It does not hurt normally unless I touch it. Do you know what this could be? Do I need to contact the dentist right away?
thanks for your query, i have gone through your query. the swelling could be secondary to residual infection or inflammed flap secondary to trauma. consult your oral physician and rule out any infection..complete the course of antibiotics and analgesics. da saline gargling. i hope my answer will help you. take care
