Brief Answer:
Increasing he dose of effexor could be answer to your increased anxiety

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I read your query and understand your concerns.

It is common observation that after years of use some of the anti anxiety medications lose their effect on the particular individual. Since the anxiety is there for over last two months and get relived by use of low dose of clonazepam there is no doubt that we need to think for either increasing the dose of effexor or to change different anti anxiety medications.

I hope this answers you.
Feel free to write back to me if you have more questions.
Thanks and regards.
