Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have gone through your query and noted your concern.

Most common types of skin cancer are Basal cell Carcinoma (BCC), Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) and Melanoma. While BCC is most common on face and is a pearly nodule with rolled borders, SCC is a either a skin colored nodule or growth and is commonly on chronically sun exposed sites like face, arms and scalp on a background of sun damaged skin. Melanoma on the other hand is a pigmented lesion with asymmetry, color variegation, irregular borders. Thus each type of skin cancer has distinctive clinical features which aid in its diagnosis.. Hence, I request you to kindly upload images of the affected area in "Reports Section" so that I am able to have a look and guide you accordingly.

Hope to assist you further once I get the images.
Note: Hope the answers resolves your concerns, however for further guidance of skin related queries consult our Dermatologist.Click here to book a consultation
