Brief Answer:
Attrition, abrasion, root exposure, or caries, follow these measures.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have read your query and understand your concern. As far as sweet and cold sensation is concerned this can be due to Attrition, Abrasion (wearing of tooth surface), deposition of calculus on cervical region, exposure of root or caries present in teeth.

For this i will suggest you :
-Maintain good oral hygiene. Use mouthwash.
- use Antispasticity toothpaste like Colgate sensitivity pro-relief or Sensodyne.
- use soft bristle toothbrush to brush your teeth.
- if your tooth is discolored or surface of the tooth is wearing then consult a dentist for oral examination and investigation such as X-ray for proper diagnosis and treatment plan.

Hope this will help you.
If you have further query, I will be happy to assist.
Thanks.

thanks Doctor. I check today and visually o don't see any discoloration. I will try using mouthwash. for toothpaste I use Colgate Vedshakti and previously medicated. both of them contains flouride. is there anything else in sensodyne apart from flouride? also is there something I can use for strengthening my gums since sometimes I feel sensation in them too.
