Question: hello.. I've been having abdominal discomforts for quite a while like couple of years, I had endoscopy and colonoscopy 5 years ago and there was no major concern except for scarring found in my stomach from acid reflux in the past. Lately, it reoccurred but have strange episodes, feels dull pains dominantly in the upper left quadrant of my abdomen , it comes and goes at any period of the day or night. I went to primary provider and ordered tests for stools for antigen and blood, and some bloodwork, and the result is H-pylori positive, took the 14day treatment ,felt a relief but then discomfort came after I finished the med. Went back to provider again and had some imaging required,it turned out there are 2 gall bladder stone and a 7mm polyp. I feel aweful lately, been anxious about what's going on, so hopefully I will get some possible answers of my discomfort through your expertise or any suggestion on what to do. Ive been reading about home remedies for ulcer. Discomfort like dull pains is pretty dominant when I'm done eating or when I feel hungry..praying I will be whole and well soon.Thank you in advance.

Brief Answer:
Gall bladder stones are completely benign

Detailed Answer:
Hi Gloryg.csf,

Thank you for the elaborate history. Your symptoms are suggestive of gallstone disease. Seeing that you are bothered by the symptoms on a regular basis, I suggest you consult a local surgeon to be scheduled for removal of your gall bladder. It is usually a straight forward procedure. To control symptoms, I suggest you try diclofenac when you feel the pain is coming, if you do not have a stomach ulcer or a heart condition.

Best wishes.
