Question: around ten minutes ago I used alfrin nasal spray oxymetazoline. i experienced a lot of sweating afterwards (but j don't think diziness or bradycardia) should I be worried? we sites say sweating is a symptom of an overdose...

Hii. Sometimes oxymetazoline nasal drop causes increase in blood pressure, sweating it giddiness due to its adrenergic effect. This depends on person to person variability and sensitivity for the drug. Don't use it chronically. You can use nasoclear saline drop instead of it. It will help in washing the nose. Relax and take rest and if possible visit local ent clinic, check your blood pressure, pulse rate, respiratory rate and if possible do a ECG and get yourself checked by a physician. It's always better to check as it cause adrenergic effect on individuals.
