Question: My period due is tomorrow now today I have taken primount-n tablet so my period will postpone?

Dr. Purushottm Neurgaonkar here. I welcome you to HCM VIRTUAL CLINIC. I have gone through your question, and I think I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

1 ) First of all do not panic.

2 ) As you might be aware that Tab Regestrone is a pro gestational hormone.
Its level in the blood decreases before the onset of periods.

So when you want to postpone the periods with tablets, we suggest to start the progesterone tablets at least twice a day before the expected date of the cycle and ask to continue till the date of post ponement

3 ) As you have taken only one tablet, it will not affect the onset of cycle at this point of time.
Your periods can get started as scheduled or might be delayed by a day or so or a bit or slightly lighter than usual.
