Brief Answer:
Dab, sitz bath, anti inflammatory meds

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

You can consider doing the following:
(1) Dabbing not wiping when you have a bowel movement, this would reduce irritation to the area

(2) Using an oral anti inflammatory medication if you can use one eg naproxen or ibuprofen- this would reduce the irritation that you are experiencing

(3) Sitz bath- if you can sit in a sitz bath or container for 15 to 20 mins, 2 to 3 times a day, this would help as well. You should use warm (not hot) water with epsom salt or table salt

(4) Use a donut cushion or other cushion when sitting to avoid irritating the area

(5) Avoid straining due to hard stool. Use enough fluids and consider using a stool softener for a few days to prevent hard stool eg docusate

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
