I am Dr.Barani and I am pleased to assist you.

I presume you meant meningococcal vaccine (the meningitis vaccine).

Two doses are to be given.
The first one given at the age of 11 or 12. The second dose is given at the age of 16.

If the first dose is given at 13, 14 or 15 years, the second dose should still be given at 16 years.

If the teens have not received the vaccine at all, they should receive it at the earliest.
