Brief Answer:
Healthy cardiac diet

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

The key to healthy cardiac diet to decrease the potion size of your meals and increase the number of meals daily to six meals. You should also increase your intake of low fat proteins as low fat dairy products, fish, lean meat and avoid fatty cheese and fatty portions of meat. Also you should increase your intake of fresh vegetables and fruits, whole wheat products and avoid processed foods and white wheat. Also, try to use olive oil instead of regular types of oil.

I hope you find this helpful.

I believe that this may be related. I experience a pain in the center of my chest. I did ECG and other related examinations but nothing was found. It feels at times like a physical/ muscular pain, then at times like a gas related pain. It also feels like it maybe posture related as I probably slouch a lot when sitting.I feel it sometimes when I a feel very hungry. Could you please shed some light on this development?
With much thanks.

Brief Answer:
A number of causes

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

This pain could be due to a number of causes including costochondritis which is inflammation of the joints uniting your ribs and your sternum.. If this junction area is tender when you press on it then this confirms the diagnosis. This can be relived by calcium supplements together with an anti-inflammatory medication as Diclofenac once daily.

Another cause could be gastritis which can be relieved by Omeprazole once daily and ranitidine before every meal. Also I would recommend that you get a stool analysis for H. pylori infection which is the most common cause of gastritis. If these causes were excluded and no improvement occurred then I would recommend that you get an ultrasound abdomen to exclude gall bladder issues as cholecystitis.

I hope you find this helpful.
