Question: What is this, dry cough 2 months, no sore throat, no fever. Then pain in knees and legs, then tiredness, swelling of left ankle. Then rash on legs. Started new truck driving job where hours changed from 3am to 4:30pm, hauling gravel. Never had symptoms of asthma but allergies. Age 50, overweight. Annual checkups on job, just had one, everything ok. No high BP, no diabetic symptoms, heart ok.

Brief Answer:
Probably allergy symptoms, follow the advice below.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

There are many medical conditions that cause dry cough, but in your case in my opinion, it is caused by an allergy.
To confirm the diagnosis I suggest the following examinations:
- A physical examination
- A complete blood count
- A chest X-ray
- Allergy tests

Meanwhile, some advices that I can give to you are:
- Take daily antihistamines for relief
- Take anti-inflammatory medication for pain in legs and knees
- Drink liquids and eat healthy
- Use a humidifier at home
- Don't smoke
