Brief Answer:
It is old healed infection in brain. Needs medications if seizures occur.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
There is a calcium deposit in the brain in the left parietal lobe which is an area in left side of brain. It is not a brain tumor. This is because of old infection which has healed with time. This is not serious by itself but can cause seizures at any time if medicine is not taken. Patients are put on medications to control seizures and treatment may take 2 years or more.

This has happened due to intake of infected vegetables and meat. Please cook meat well and wash vegetables before eating. The patient should avoid doing cooking, driving, swimming and operating machines when alone. This is because seizure can come at anytime and patient may cause harm to herself.

Hope your query is answered.
Please write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek
