What Could Cause Deepening And Thickening Stretch Marks On My Thighs?

Question: I've really deep streach marks on my inner thighs and very lite streachmakrs on my arms.I feel like they are getting deeper and thick every year.

I would like to understand the treatment for this.

Hello,

I suggest you to use a Tretinoin 0.05% cream (Retino A 0.05%) at night. Stretch marks are due to break in the dermal collagen network. They are not completely reversible though they may improve somewhat with time aided by treatment.

How long should I be using Tretinoin?
How can I stop them from spreading?
What care should be taken so that I don't get more streachmarks?
I've them on both of my thighs, calves, and arms.

Also, especially inner thighs are really dark. How can this be treated along with Streachmarks?

Regarding stretch marks

Hi.

I suggest you to use Tretinoin cream for your stretch marks for at least 6-12 months. Stretch marks are either due to weight gain or weight loss or a side effect of certain medications like steroids (oral or topical).
Dark inner thighs I suggest you to use kojic acid based cream (kojic cream), twice daily.
