I have gone through the little details that you have provided. Unfortunately the problem is not very clear. It would really be appreciable if you could explain in a bit more detail. Does your son seem to be experimenting or does it seem that he has a irritation down his throat that he is trying to relieve? Talk to your child and ask him about it and I am sure that you would get more information. Let me know if there are specific scenarios when he does it. I doubt if there is anything wrong. Perhaps some simple and gentle approach will be able to coax him not to do it. In case you still feel that there could be a problem, visiting an ENT specialist would be helpful.
