Brief Answer:
Blockage of normal flow to urostoma...infection to consider...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have just received your query regarding your mother's problem.

You are reporting that:
- your mother is 90 years old
- urostomy for 48 years till not
- current problems: behind the bag the area has become swollen and large

This means that the urostoma is not working well. Something (obstacle) is blocking the normal flow. Further evaluation is required by her caring doctor as infection should be ruled out too.

You can send a photo of the affected/swollen area to me for further evaluation.

Thank you.
Dr.Albana
