Question: My son 20 years old was on Arip 10, Stelopam 10 and Sizodon 0.5 for last 3 months. He suddenly stopped taking all medicines after feeling suicidal 3 days before. Now he is exteremly paranoid and does not want to take midicine. Can the combination be tweeked a little to subdue his resistance?

Brief Answer:
I think yes but possibility is low

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

Feeling suicidal and than stopping medications are probably part of incomplete response to his psychiatric condition and I think he should be freshly evaluated for proper prescription.

I understand that starting the medication may help him to gain insight (thinking that he has illness and needs treatment) but it does not mean it can be achieved in few days or with few dosage of combination.

As per my opinion he can be given at least two mg of sizodon on one or other pretext (mixed with food) and get him to psychiatrist.

I hope this helps you.
If you have more questions feel free to write back to me.
Thanks and regards.
