Brief Answer:
Monitoring for now!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this scrotal swelling that you have reported. Painless and abrupt scrotal swelling is often due to fluid retention. As long as it causes no symptoms, monitoring for now is the best way forward. I will suggest that you monitor and gather ore information related to this. Should it regress spontaneously, then there is no reason to get worried. However, should it persist beyond a week, increase in size or become painful, seek immediate medical attention.

For now, put on a supportive underwear, lie down often and avoid upright positions if not necessary.

In all, no need to panic just now. Monitor for more information and watchful waiting hoping for spontaneous resolution. If this fails within a week or something worrisome comes up, seek immediate medical consultation.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
