Question: I had two lumps in left armbit more than five years ago and it was diagnosed as sweat gland tumour through fnc test
I have dead pain in arm sometimes or frequently somedays.
Now i found one very small lump in right armpit, that is moving and also pain in arm sometimes.
Please let me know if it is something serious or harmless.
I am scared of breast cancer history of my mom.
Just to let you know that my age is 45
What test should i need?
Many thanks for your kind support!

Brief Answer:
Hello dear. You require mammogram

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear.
I have gone through the details.

So a history of breast cancer in mother puts you at a slightly higher risk for cancer. You will require a Sono-Mammogram of breast and axilla to know the nature of lumps.

If its benign, nothing needs to be done further.

Thanks and regards

Dear doctor,
Many thanks for the reply!
Could you please let me know about sweat gland tumour as it was detected in left armpit five years ago?
I am worried that right armpit lump is the same.
I have no lump in breasts.
Please advise about the sweat gland tumour.
Kind regards

Brief Answer:
Mammogram is still necessary

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear.

So even if you don't palpate any lump in breast, mammogram is still necessary as you have family history of ca breast. I will advise you to follow this sequence
FNA or biopsy of node. If positive for breast ca
Then a mammogram / MRI breast.

If biopsy of node is suggestive of sweat gland tumor, then no need for MRI or mammogram.
Thanks and regards
