What Causes Persistent Vibration In A Large Vein In Left Side Of The Neck?

default
Posted on Mon, 18 Apr 2016
Question: For the past few weeks I have noticed a large vein in the left side of my neck that pulsates very visibly. The vein on the right side does not. Sometimes, the vein protrudes and pulsates very noticeably and sometimes it is less so. There is no pain associated with it. Is this something to be concerned about?

Brief Answer:
No need to be concerned at this time!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this vein. Normally veins re visible at the next region and depends on the posture of the head. There is really nothing to worry about at this time. All you need to do is to monitor to see whether anything else is happening such as pain, headache, etc.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, thanks for using our services.
