Dear Sir,
Thank you for posting your query on HCM.
Well looking into your query I would like to know some relevant history from you . Whether you had any injury to the shoulder in recent past, any history of lifting some heavy object , playing of any high energy sport like squash etc .
Do you experience pain during just one particular movement or during every movement . Plus does the pain exist when the shoulder is in resting stage also .
History is very essential to help you out in this matter.
Take care.

Dear Sir,
Thank you for reverting back.
Since there is no any history of injury to the joint the possibility of rotator cuff injury is practically rule out . It could be a sprain or tendinitis that is troubling you .
I would advise you to take an antiinflammatory like etoricoxib 90 mg once daily for 3-5 days depending on your healing and discomfort level. Plus avoid lifting of any heavy object by this hand as it will aggravate the pain . You can use the topical preprations like Moov etc. , there is no harm in it but that wont heal the inner inflammation . So you can use it as an adjunctive treatment.
Take care.
