Brief Answer:
Lignocaine gel can be used

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query,

I have read through your query and if you seem to have difficulty in inserting the applicator, making use of lignocaine gel will ease its access.

You can either choose to apply the lignocaine gel over the anal orifice or over the applicator.

Also, you are required to make necessary dietary changes for prolonged benefits:

- consume more of green leafy vegetables and fibers.
- avoid foods that are oily and spicy.
- engage in a daily minimum walking for 30 mins, which will help in easy bowel movements.

I hope I have answered to your query,

Please feel free to discuss further,

Regards
